Catching up...
Ok, I know it is been a while. Almost two months to be exact. I have a good explanation. I took a new job, Max graduated from MBA school and it has been quite the busy and fast few months around the Jodry household. So, here is to catching up in 2011 and a promise to be better in 2012.

One of our favorite places on earth!
Every Labor Day we go to Mackinac Island, Michigan with the Jodrys. It is one of our favorite trips we take all year and it is such paradise. Just when you are getting sick of the hot, hot hot Texas summer, we escape to beautiful cool weather and the sound of horse drawn carriages.
This was Wells' first year to go to Mackinac, and he LOVED it! I can't wait to raise him and any other kiddos the Lord may bless us with one day there.

Wells escaped from our room and we found him down the hall trying to escape!

Wonder of the Dallas World Aquarium
I took a day off to spend with Wells for his first birthday. It was declared "Wells day" and we did fun things all day to celebrate him. I will certainly make this a tradition every year. One of the highlights of the day was going to the Dallas World Aquarium, which is where Max and I had our wedding reception. It was so fun to go back to "where it all started" and bring our little one along to experience the wonder of the aquarium.

He was fascinated with all the waterfalls, fish, birds and sea life around him.
If you live in Dallas or are ever in the area, you should put this on your list to go and do! It is amazing!
