A Really Clean House!

Yesterday, I came home to a clean house! I cannot begin to say how happy it made me. We had some air conditioner repair men at our house on Wednesday and they were productive but made a mess.
My mom's housekeeper, Norma, who does an incredible job came yesterday. When I came home from work - it was one of the biggest treats. Max walked in and said, "man, she can clean the heck out of a house." This has now afforded me a less stressful weekend.
Amazing how the small things will make you happy!

Trip to Jackson Hole

Max and I just got back from an incredible trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his family. We had an unbelievable time and saw some of God's most incredible creation. I have never seen a buffalo or a moose up close (except maybe the zoo) and to see them on the side of the road was incredible.
We also spend a day in Yellowstone National Park. This was my first visit there and we had an incredible time seeing things like mud pots, geysers and enormous waterfalls.
Max and I also hiked up the mountain and I spent some time relaxing in the spa!
Below are some pictures of our trip.

It is great being an aunt and uncle!

McCall at 6 weeks

The first time Max held McCall! It was a sweet moment!

One of the first times I held her. We played dress up before this photo.

I could not help but to publish a few pics of Max holding sweet McCall and a picture of the first time we played dress up in her pretty clothes.

We were in Jackson Hole this past week (post coming) and I had the best time buying clothes and shoes for my little niece.

Long Overdue

Katie, Campbell, Me, Evelyn and Jessica at the Red Bar for birthday dinner.

Precious Campbell in her pink monogrammed swimsuit!

Jess and precious Evelyn!

Me and my sweet hubby, Max!

My sweet daddy and me at the Red Bar. He came along for the birthday celebration!

I had not seen two of my dearest friends from college in almost 3 years. Yes, 3 years! I saw them a few weeks ago for my birthday and we had some wonderful time to catch up. It is amazing how you can pick up like you saw each other yesterday!

I also had the privilege of meeting their two babies, Campbell and Evelyn! What precious babies they are. Campbell is such a little lady and Evelyn is a great baby!

Can't wait to see you soon, Kate and Jess. It won't be three years again - promise! Miss you guys!

Shelby McCall Ellzey

I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be an aunt.

Shelby "McCall" Ellzey was recently born and is the joy of our families life. My sister is such a wonderful mom, and Jake, her husband, is a great daddy! Jake is over in Iraq right now and needs our prayers. He will return sometime this summer!
McCall looks just like her daddy, but with my dimples! It is amazing to see how God puts different character traits in each of us that resembles our family.

My sister, Shelby, is doing a wonderful job of balancing life and a new baby!

Max got to meet her a few weeks ago and it is amazing how a little baby will just crawl into your heart.
Much more to come on this newest addition to our family.

WHAX??

Three years ago, Max and I got married. Several of our friends at that time called us "WHAX" - a combination of Whitney and Max. It has stuck.
This picture is before we got married in NYC - yes, Serendipity Cafe with their famous frozen hot chocolate.
Today, I felt the desire to make our entry into the blog world. Yes, I have been resisting the temptation, but we are here now. Hope you enjoy!
