First Easter

We had a fabulous Easter! Praise the Lord - our Savior is alive!

Every year, we have both families (and extended families) over for Easter lunch . Wellsy was such a big helper to get us ready. He is still not mobile, so this year was not too bad with trying to keep him in one place and occupied.

Wells playing sweetly while I buzzed around to get ready.

Flowers were soaking in the bath tub. Lots of arranging to do.

With the help of my grandmother and sweet Aunt Dee, the flowers were completed! And beautiful...

The dining room table is set.

My grandparents from Dallas were not feeling well and sent flowers as a way to let us know they were thinking of us. Such a sweet treat!

The breakfast room table is set.

And the Easter Bunny arrived.

Goodies for McCall and Wells.

Our handsome little guy who was loving the attention on Easter.

The entire Jodry Family.

Mommasissy and McCall. McCall was acting shy when we wanted to take her picture.

But we finally got her looking at the camera.

McCall then discovered that the Easter Bunny came and delivered some surprises for she and Wellsy.

But it is hard to say if Mommasissy was enjoying the surprises more than the children. :)

Uncle Al showed Wells the ropes on how to open an Easter basket.

And Wells got his bunny ears too...

Who knows what Al is doing in this picture - but it made me laugh.

Daddy did the honors of showing Buddy how to Easter egg hunt.

McCall truly seemed to understand the idea of "hunting"

And she found a nest!!!

And Buddy did too.

All four Jodry boys!
The Jodry clan again.

My sweet cousin, Rachel and me - right before dinner.

And, after all the excitement, I found Wells like this....

Playing with paper - one of his favorite things.

It was an incredible day with family and so much richer to have babies enjoy all that Easter brings. I pray our sweet little ones will one day soon understand the true meaning of Easter and accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

So close...

TO CRAWLING!!!

That is right, baby boy is working so hard on crawling. He is sooooo close. Below is the progression of the crawl-in-the-works..

This picture (above) is scary to me. I have seen that expression before...it looks like my face when I am intent and staring at something.
He has decided he is going to show off.

Thinking about it...

Put your right hand out, put your left hand out...

OK, Mama - are you watching?

Here I go!

Got on all 4's. Are you watchin' mama?

Just wanted you to stop and see how cute I am.

If I put my mouth in the right position, I will start to scoot backwards... and the scooting happens.

I did it, Mama!

We are so proud of you, buddy. You are officially scooting backwards. Won't be long before you are mobile - forwards. And then, baby proofing here we come.

29

Last Saturday, I celebrated my last birthday in my 20's. And it was a wonderful birthday. A great day filled with family time and of course...my favorite...a bike ride, shopping and a pedicure.

Shelby, Max and I attempted to take both of the babies on a bike ride together, in one buggy. All seemed well...

Until Wells could not sit up normally with the Bobby around him (that was my brilliance, or not so brilliance)

He then became very interested in McCall's binky and wanted to "touch". This was the beginning of the end...

Finally, we were off. And this is a pic of my sweet hubby pulling both kids...

The wheels fell off about 15 minutes into the ride - when we were about 5 blocks from the house. And then Wells cried the entire way home. And, McCall had sympathy cries the entire way.

That night, after we got the babies down, we had a wonderful dinner and celebration.

One last wish for my 20's.

My sweet parents cuddled up.

And my sweet hubby who made the day wonderful as well.

Sorry, Sis, I do not have any pics of you. She was a huge part of the day too.

I love my family. Thanks for a wonderful birthday.
