Snowmageddon!

Well, it is Super Bowl week in Dallas, and we have had unprecedented weather. Snow, snow and more snow. Oh yes, and ice! The driving conditions have been unbearable and the snow has been beautiful. We ventured out into the snow on day 4 and let Wells encounter his first taste of snow...

This is the view from our front porch.

We got a total of about 6 inches. It was only about 4 inches when I took this measurement.

Max and Wells. He tolerated the snow, but was not too thrilled with being cold.

All bundled up with my toys waiting on Grandma and Grandpa. They came to get him so Max and I could go play with our friends one evening.

If you look close, the boys changed the snowman...inappropriate! This is me finding their change.

Then we went sledding with some of our dear friends down Flag Pole Hill. (Left to Right) Leslie, Me, Baylie and Amber.

This is Max sledding down the hill! I love the expression on his face.

I had a ball sledding down the hill. And, yes, my coat is the big yellow lemon!

You can tell by my face that this was a blast!

So, we decided to start playing in the snow!

And then we started posing for the camera!

After a long evening sledding, we all called it quits and went home to warm up!

We certainly took advantage of "snowmageddon" in Dallas. What fun we had and will remember our time in the snow for many years to come - or at least until we get to go sledding again.
