All snowed in...and no power!

Well, Dallas got a record 12 inches of snow! It has been so fun and so wonderful to enjoy! We do not, however, have power! I was sitting at home yesterday working and I heard these loud banging noise and sparks flying. Tree limbs were falling down on power lines and we are not sure how long it is going to take to restore! I have a bunch of pictures to post but I have to go and find my photo cord (with a flashlight)!

Thank goodness for gas fireplaces and gas stoves! We don't have hot water so we are going to have to do something to remedy that problem! Hope you all are staying warm and enjoying the weather!

A Very Merry Christmas!

We all had an incredible Christmas. We went to Virginia Beach to be with my sister, brother-in-law and niece. It was so great to just be together. As you can see below, we spent some time in Williamsburg, preparing for Christmas and the boys had a great time going to the Naval base to take a tour of everything Jake does and where he works. Max said that was a highlight for him (as I know it was for my dad too). I miss them so much and can't wait until we are together next!

Shelby, Mom and McCall in McCall's new ladybug tent that Max and I gave her. She loved playing in her new space!
McCall loved the paper. Christmas is so much more fun with a little one who loves to tear everything up!
Shelb, me and Mom in our matching Lululemon outfits (see photos below for more on Lululemon).
McCall not only loved the paper but also the bows!

My sweet sis and me. My mom always wraps our packages the same - a fun tradition that we have had for quite some time now!

One of Jake's presents from my parents. It is an airplane tricycle (really for the baby)!

Jake and Shelby preparing to open the airplane tricycle!

Mom and sis in their new Lululemon jackets. If you have never discovered Lululemon - you must go. Visit www.lululemon.com. It is the most amazing work out gear and lounging clothes. Perfect for the stay-at-home moms.

McCall enjoying her first ride in her wagon!

That is the face of a happy baby who just saw what Santa brought her.
Bella-boo (cousin of Ava and Archer) is decked out as "Mrs. Claus."

My precious parents on Christmas morning.

Sweet sis and McCall seeing what Santa brought. Santa brought her a brand new red wagon!

Seeing how much Jake loves this baby just makes me smile! He is the best daddy!

Williamsburg at Christmas!

While we were in Virginia, we spent the day in Williamsburg! I have to be honest that I was not that excited about going. However, when we got there we all had the best time. Walking around in that little town with all the cute shops and all the history that is there was truly a blast. We ate at the Trellis restaurant that made the original "Death by Chocolate" cake. Below are some pictures from our time in Williamsburg.

The girls. McCall loves to be upside down. (Wonder where she gets that since her daddy is a fighter pilot.)
Our precious boys. (Daddy, Max and Jake)

My hubby and me. It was really cold in Williamsburg!

The entire family at lunch. It was so great to all be together.

My niece is one of the greatest joys in my life!

Being with my family was one of the greatest joys this Christmas. This little face you see below brings me so much happiness. This Christmas was extra special because of her chatter, crawling and getting to know Santa! More pictures from Christmas day to come soon!
Little McCall has my dimples and chubby cheeks. Other than that, she looks like her daddy!
I love holding this little one!

My sweet sister and McCall. Don't you love the hat? Shelby is the best mom and does an incredible job of making her look precious all the time!

McCall loves Uncle Max. Especially when he plays catch with her!

And of course... Auntie Whinety was putting on her make-up and McCall wanted to participate too!
