Max and I gave out candy to trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood and then went to his parents house to hand out candy. When we got there, we found this...
Archer "man" was a cow this year! Ava was a frog! Archer wondering "when can I get out of this?" The puppies at the front door a little scared of some of the costumes!
Max's daddy took the dogs for their own "costume fitting" at this dog shop so that his "grand dogs" could be in style for Halloween! This would also be a fitting time to tell you how much Max's daddy loves these dogs! It is hilarious and pretty sweet!
I have already posted a little bit about our 3rd anniversary. We were actually in Florida over our anniversary and came home to have an incredible dinner at one of our favorite places, Hibuscus, in Dallas.
Max, I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us next! I love you!
I am a bit late posting pictures from our beach trip that we took with my family to celebrate my sister, Shelby's, birthday. She celebrated the big 3-0 and we celebrated together for almost a week! It was so fun to be together.
McCall stole all of our hearts as you can see (most of the pictures are of her). We go to Watercolor, which is by Seaside - and we just love it. We spent a ton of time riding bikes, eating great food and outlet mall shopping. They guys spent a lot of time on the golf course! Hope you enjoy...
McCall asking her auntie, "Why won't you play with me instead of taking my picture?"
Me and Max at this wonderful Taco Bar right by the beach!
My sweet family! It is so much fun to be all together!
Jake, my brother-in-law, and baby McCall! Amazing how much she looks like her daddy!
Max and Baby McCall just hanging out. She loves her Uncle Max!
I am a little late posting, and yes, I know, I still need to post pictures from our trip to the beach. But, in the meantime, I wanted to make sure I did not miss the opportunity to acknowledge three of the best years of my life.
Max and I just celebrated 3 years of marriage (my where does time go?)! We were at the beach on our anniversary, but came home and went to a wonderful dinner! I have to say that I am the luckiest girl (I know many of you feel that way) on the face of the planet. I have the most loving, caring, compassionate, supportive and Godly husband. I am amazed every day by God's perfect plan and how He uniquely knit our lives together!
I love you Max with all of my heart! I can't wait to grow old together!
Max and I just got back from the beach with my family celebrating my sisters 30th birthday! Happy birthday sis! I am going to do a big post this weekend when I have a moment to capture the whole weekend. But for now, i am leaving you with a post of my precious niece who is the light of my life! (Isn't her outfit just precious!) More to come this weekend...have a great one!
For those of you who are not from Dallas, "Jerry World" is the nickname of the new Cowboys Stadium (or stadjium as Jerry Jones would say). Max went with his company and sat on a field-level suite. He is going to share a few thoughts with you about this, and I am going to dictate...
A great picture of the field from his seat. Isn't he just adorable?
Per Max: This is the field-level bar view. It is like a dug-out at a baseball game, except they serve beer.
Per Max: This is Jerry "Facelift" Jones. As you can see the close-up broke the focus of my iPhone. This is where all the players run through from the locker room to the "stadjium."
Per Max: "Cowboys" as Jerry likes to say it with his Arkansas accent.
Per Max: Field-level suite view.
There you have it. I have to say that I watched this stadium go up on my way to work and it is pretty unbelievable how large it is and how much Jerry spent on the "Death Star." It is almost like he had to build this so he had something more he could brag about in Dallas. Very sad!!!
Glad Max and friends had fun! Did I mention that he was not able to get me a ticket, and I was incredibly disappointed that I could not share in the fun he had. And, yes, he missed Bible Study to go to the game! We will be teasing him about this for a while.!
Born and raised in Plano, Texas I have spent the majority of my life learning what God's plan is for my life. I am still discovering it. One step at a time, I have been blessed with an amazing journey. At age 24, I married Max Jodry, who has been an unbelievable partner in life. At 28, Max and I welcomed our first child, Wells, into our family! Blessed to work in healthcare, I have the opportunity to work with families and patients in their greatest time of need. We re loving being parents and in our free time, Max and I love to travel, ride our bikes, play spades and dominos and take our Italian Greyhounds, Ava and Archer out to run around and play.
